The Government of Tamil Nadu commissioned a spectacular launch experience for the Global Investors Meet Tamil Nadu 2015, designed to mark the beginning of the state’s flagship investment summit.
DB Productions conceptualized and delivered a first-of-its-kind augmented reality launch experience, combining digital storytelling and live event production to create a memorable opening moment for the event.
The concept revolved around Pegasus, the official mascot of the Global Investors Meet, which was recreated as a digital AR character appearing within the launch environment.
The sequence depicted Pegasus flying from the outer universe and entering the Global Investors Meet venue, where it ceremonially bowed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister before unveiling the official logo of the Global Investors Meet Tamil Nadu 2015.

AR Launch System and Installation Elements
The launch experience integrated augmented reality rendering systems with live event staging, creating the illusion of a digitally animated Pegasus interacting with the physical stage environment.
The sequence involved the development of a detailed digital Pegasus character, AR animation workflows and synchronized media playback systems, enabling the mascot to move dynamically through the event space before unveiling the summit branding.
The project required careful coordination between AR content development, stage mapping and media system integration to ensure seamless synchronization with the live event environment.
The final presentation delivered a visually compelling and memorable opening sequence, creating one of the most talked-about launch moments during the Global Investors Meet.
