Kalaignar Museum in Chennai was established in memory of the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M. Karunanidhi. The museum presents the life, political journey and cultural legacy of the leader through a series of curated exhibition environments.
The facility spans approximately 20,000 sq ft, with DB Productions designing and deploying experiential systems across nearly 15,000 sq ft of the museum. The installation integrates interactive exhibits, immersive projection environments and artistic installations to translate historical narratives into engaging public experiences.
DB Productions executed the project as a complete turnkey programme, covering concept development, storyboarding, content creation, hardware integration, fabrication, installation and final commissioning.

Experiential Systems and Installation Elements
The Kalaignar Museum installation integrates a range of interactive exhibits and immersive media environments designed to translate historical narratives into engaging visitor experiences. The deployment spans nearly 15,000 sq ft of the museum and combines LED display systems, projection environments and interactive media installations across multiple galleries.
Key installations include anamorphic LED displays, floor and wall projection mapping environments, Art-to-Life projection systems, interactive digital walls, illustration projection installations and a levitation sculpture feature, together creating a layered storytelling environment within the museum.
The project was delivered as a complete turnkey installation, covering concept development, storyboarding, media content creation, hardware integration, fabrication, installation and system commissioning. The final deployment creates a museum environment designed for public engagement while ensuring operational reliability for continuous visitor use.
