Conceptualization and deployment of a large-format 180-degree curved immersive display showcasing the development and expansion of New Mangalore Port during the port launch event attended by the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) commissioned a large-format immersive display installation to present the scale of infrastructure development and operational expansion achieved across the port region.
The installation was developed as part of the official launch programme of the New Mangalore Port, where the immersive experience was presented to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India during the event.
DB Productions conceptualized and delivered a 20-meter wide 180-degree curved screen environment, enabling a panoramic visual presentation of the port’s infrastructure, operations and development activities.
The project was delivered as a complete turnkey programme, including concept design, immersive content production, curved screen fabrication, projection integration and final show execution.

Immersive Display System and Installation Elements
The installation was designed around a 180-degree curved projection surface approximately 20 meters wide, creating a panoramic display environment capable of delivering a fully immersive viewing experience.
To capture the scale of the port infrastructure, DB Productions conducted aerial filming using drone systems and 180-degree camera setups, capturing visual footage of the port’s operational zones and development areas spread across several hectares.
Key elements of the installation included custom fabrication of the curved projection screen, panoramic content capture and stitching workflows, high-resolution video production and synchronized playback systems designed to deliver the immersive visual experience.
The project also included content production and stitching of panoramic footage, ensuring seamless visual continuity across the curved display surface.
The final immersive presentation created a visually compelling environment to communicate the scale of port development initiatives during the official launch event.
